Abstract

A 25-day-old male monozygous twin neonate, whose parents were second-degree relatives, was referred to our clinic for evaluation of red nodules covering all of his body since birth. Dermatologic examination disclosed multiple pink to violaceous infiltrated cutaneous nodules with diameters of 0.5 to 2.0 cm on his scalp, face, trunk, and left knee (Figure 1). No petechiae or ecchymoses were seen. Bilateral inguinal lymphadenopathy was detected during physical examination. There was no hepatosplenomegaly. A punch biopsy specimen was obtained from a nodule on the left knee and was sent for histopathologic examination (Figure 2 and Figure 3).
